Graduated in Agriculture in 1995, with specialization in Plant Protection and specialization in Soil Science, I start my professional activity as a soil scientist, carrying out soil analyses throughout the Greek territory. In this way, my contact with Greek viticulture and my acquaintance with many Greek and foreign grape varieties begins.
In 1998, after a detailed collection and recording of data and images and having now basic experience, I cultivate my first vineyard, in Nea Karyes Larissa, an area of 5 acres, with 22 different Greek and foreign varieties for the production of white and red wine. The aim of the project was to verify the adaptability of all the varieties to the microclimate of the region.
In 2006, after a systematic recording and analysis of the qualitative characteristics of the specific varieties, as well as the production of wine, either from individual varieties or by co-vinification between them, I created a 26-acre vineyard with specific Greek and foreign varieties for the production of white and red wine.
The result of these years of experience and long-term testing is a quality wine, organically managed, with the characteristic name “KARYOS ΓH“.
